The Vanguard 2 is a minimalist inside the waistband holster that covers the trigger guard only. Using the static lanyard or the overhook allows for safe IWB carry. The Vanguard 2 can also be used as a trigger guard cover for safe transport or for storage. You can still remove the magazine and rack the slide to clear your handgun while protecting the trigger from being pressed accidentally. When using the Vanguard 2 for IWB carry it is recommended that the holster be removed and installed outside of your waistband for safety.
